Required ingredients
Making of cake
• Eggs – 2 eggs
• Sugar – 1 cup
• Milk – ½ cup
• Plain Flour – 1 ½ cups
• Butter – 125 g butter
• Vanilla essence – 2 teaspoons
• Baking powder – 1 ¾ teaspoon
Cream topping
• Unsalted butter (softened) – 375 gram
• Salt – A pinch of Salt
• Vanilla – Vanilla extract or 1 Vanilla bean
• Pure vanilla extract – 1 tablespoon
• Icing Sugar – 3 cups
• Milk – 45 ML or 3 tablespoon
Vanilla cake recipe
For the making of the cake
1. Preheat the Oven to 350 degrees F. Take two 8-inch cake pans and grease them with butter as well as dust them with all-purpose flour after greasing. Make sure to tap out the excess and dust it properly.
2. Take a large bowl, whisk softened butter and sugar together. Whisk till you get a softened and creamy batter. Once you have a creamy texture prepared, add eggs, one at a time and beat these to mix them well in the batter. You can use a hand mixer for mixing purpose.
3. Mix all purpose flour and baking powder in a synchronized way, so that the distribution of both the things is even. Pour milk and mix it well so that there are no clumps remaining in the mixture.
4. Divide batter into two pans and bake it for 30 to 40 minutes. To check the cake poke a knife or tooth pick in it. If it comes out clean then your cake is prepared and baked properly else you need to bake for 5 minutes again. Trim the tops of the cake if you want to have a perfect level of cake.
Vanilla Frosting
5. Whip butter using a hand mixer to make it softer and creamy. Whip for 8 minutes using a hand mixer on high speed.
6. Now add the remaining ingredients and mix it well. Mix it for approximately seven minutes to get a smooth batter. This is your prepared cream to frost the cake.
7. Keep the bottom layer of cake on a board and add 1 cup of vanilla frosting on it. Spread it on the cake evenly.
8. Place the other piece of cake on top of it gently. Or can say place the second layer of cake over 1st layer. Spread the Vanilla frosting on top and sides and make it look even from all sides.
9. Refrigerate the cake at least 30 minutes and then enjoy each and every delicate bite of it.
